SAMSARA
Yo peasants I'm back!Today, is a very important day for you. Do you know why? Because the princess has graced your presence, of course! No, really, this is a very important session. We are here to talk about something larger than life- no not me, but the eternal cycle of life and death; and God's not "mysterious" ways but 'sudden'.
Life can take you up by storm. Trust me I know, my life hasn't been a rollercoaster but a freaking tornado! I don't care to illuminate, as shit happens to everyone and in actuality you are luckier than most where you are, and deserve whatever comes your way...blah blah blah.
Now, what's all this- Samsara, Reincarnation, Karma, God, Devotion ?!?!?!?! What does all this mean and how does it apply to you?
You see, the world, life, desire, material trumps is an illusion; and this eternal cycle of rebirth, duties, sins, and karma continues and accumulates on and on and on...
Ok fine, now you know it, what can you do about it? Is there a solution, a rig in the system?
Yes, there is. Everyone has heard about karma- you reap what you sow. That is in fact true. There is in fact the threefold law- of whatever you send out into the universe- thoughts, energies (negative or positive) inevitably will come back to you in some form, in some reincarnation 3 times fold. What everyone has not been enlightened of is akarma- the state of neither good nor bad karma/action/thought/motive/desire. This state which dissolves you of all consequence the ultimate state! (That's how much a pain in the butt conquering the battle of life really is-battling yourself.) When you give up acting or expecting for selfish reasons that is akarma. When you surrender yourself to God and his will. When you offer your actions and leave the fruit of that action and thought to him; that is akarma. It is easier said than done. But I am certain once you are evolved to that level, life will become far simpler and smoother. All the worries will vanish- as you know you are in God's hands and he WILL take care of you. Yet, and this is a big yet, if you still want, aspire, desire, crave, and suffer for things/people/salvation until you do not have 'it'. And you forever feel you do not have 'it'. That is the way humans are built. As soon the desire for something, anything arises it will not terminate its cycle until it is complete-fulfilled. And don't be mistaken karma will haunt you for the most miniscule of desires.
So then where does this leave you? "Even though you're not selfish, but just because you have some dreams and desires of your own- karma will follow, but mokshya won't?"
Ding Ding Ding. You are absolutely right!
Good karma is pretty good if you wanna come back to your long time sorority house. But, if you want something more, your purpose, your creator- evolve. Think on a higher plane. Don't desire, don't fret, don't hurt anybody, hell don't love anybody. JUST LOVE GOD. JUST BE. THAT'S ALL YOU CAN REALLY DO ANYWAY!
I sound pretty looloo don't I? Well that's coz I am...but it still doesn't dismiss the fact that this is the colosseum and these are the rules we've been given. And we have to win the game. You know what I really don't know what more to say, or how to say it. As I am a student of life, and we all are- I feel Bhagwati la Guru could add far more to this!
But I would like to end this post with the fact that life and destiny (God) take you on their own tide and current (their sudden storms and turn of events which are out of our control)- it is up to us how to ride it- do we open our eyes and go with a surf's up attitude and revel in the waves or do we close our eyes in fear of the sharks that swim beneath the shallow waters. It is eventually up to us how we will come out of this life time, and our next birth as well. Do we evolve, attain mokshya, or build up our bank balance of pure and unselfish deeds?
